I Got Nuthin’

up shit creek

Comments & Trackbacks

I didn’t know you had taken up canoeing recently.  Well, when I finally see you swimming upstream (as you will eventually pass my point on this lovely [ahem] scenic waterway), I will smile and wave, as the first rule of Shit Creek is: Don’t drink the water.

Dingo… I think you and I vacation in the same spot.  I have a lovely TimeShare up yonder on Shit Creek. Inevitably, I forget to pack my shovel and I ALWAYS need it. You’d think I’d learn.

I think it may be time for me to pack up some packages and send them out.

Love & Hugs to you! (P.S. DON’T fall out of the canoe on Shit Creek, you can’t wash that stank off!)

Posted by MsDarkstar on 07/14 at 08:33 PM

Maybe Dingo girl can grab the paddle for you… hope you find your way out from under that black cloud soon (and what a groovy cloud it is).

I disagree on the got nuthin part.  At least you have the creativity and gumption to post cool sparkly pictures.  I just don’t post.

dingo, i miss you.  don’t you know shit creek is not a good vacation spot?  i would suggest hallelujah.  (or at least brooklyn.) i hope you get to shore soon.  i want to see you before i start waddling.  hugs!

I second Ms.Darkstar’s “don’t fall out of the boat” suggestion. Big hugs (and a raincoat) for ya, Dingo.

I wish I were closer. I’d paddle right up to you, with beer, and hang out for a while.

The clouds will pass, my dear.  Remember what Dory said; “Just keep swimming, just keep swimming!”

Love ya,

Chili

Haha oh Dingo I’m sorry you’re up the creek, but that picture is hilarious. Animation and everything!

I think it’s time for you to move out west and come hang with me and Geek Hiker. I’m sure he has tons of spare paddles and trail mix and stuff.

You may have had nothing before, but now that you’ve been to the creek you probably have hepatitis.  Congrats!

Posted by flurrious on 07/15 at 02:17 PM

I spend a lot of time there. Renting has gotten so expensive I’m thinking of buying.

Posted by Jennifer June on 07/15 at 08:44 PM

You still got your creativity, love!

Apparently, we are in the same canoe.

“Not true,” said she.

Write about the text I received the other day.

Posted by Jules on 07/17 at 07:03 PM

Well, it’s good to know you’re alive, at least. We miss you, Dingo.

Posted by April on 07/18 at 05:20 PM

The only advantage I’ve seen thus far to being in that situation (as, apparently, most of us are) is that you never have to worry about finding a bathroom…

Posted by GeekHiker on 07/19 at 01:57 PM

Hey Shit Creek runs through my yard (and sometimes floods into my house) stop by on your way down stream for a beer!

Posted by jomamma on 07/21 at 02:11 PM

You kick blogging ass, lady!

Yep. I know the feeling. Here’s hoping you see the sunshine soon.

Next time try Paris. Lots more fun than Shit Creek.

Hope you find a wandering log soon. Be strong! Fingers crossed for no Beakers in your class this term. (Then again, you’ll have less to blog about so here’s hoping there’s someone of interest to make the blogging juices flow)

Stay gorgeous.

Getting worried about you, Dingo. Hope everything’s going alright and that this writer’s block is the only rough spot right now. Hope you can handle those students… I just switched to an education major and I gotta say I really enjoy reading about how you handle some of the characters that arise with such a kick-ass attitude. And you post about zombies. We miss you.

I was going to comment on how you look to be up the proverbial creek without the paddle, then I noticed the name of the store, dang, I’m on the ball today.

Posted by Mik on 09/27 at 12:05 PM

Just so you know, you are greatly missed. Sending New England hugs (and chocolate martinis) your way.

Posted by Organic mama on 09/30 at 03:10 PM

i believe “up the creek with no paddle” comes into play here.. if we could only change that saying to “up the creek with no paddle on a rainy day” haha where are you? cool picture.

Posted by jimmytaylor1982 on 10/01 at 11:45 AM

Cool picture though. smile

Hope you’re doing okay! I’d love to hear your thoughts on “The Walking Dead.”

Posted by Matt Nelson on 11/14 at 05:49 PM

I’ve been revisiting your blog for a thousand million galaxillion times, and I would like to sincerely ask if there’s any way I can throw you a life jacket or rope or Prince William who just reportedly rescued someone(pssh, like he’s the only hero out there)or that bloody piece of wood from Titanic or even Heidi Montag with her floatable breats implants, just so that you can write something again? Even if it’s just a simple single four word obscenity. smile

Hello Innernetz!!  I’ve missed you. You are the best Innernetz ever. Thank you so much for your support and your patience.  Really.  It’s meant sooooo much.  I’ll be back to posting regularly after Thanksgiving!

Posted by Dingo on 11/23 at 02:28 PM

Promise? We’re holding you to it, Dingo.

Posted by Here In Franklin on 11/28 at 06:35 PM

That’s a really cool picture and unique effect. Pity about the sinking canoe though.
